Do we lead our lives with the conscious mind, or do we lead them with subconscious programs? Science has discovered that only 5% of the day we operate our system using the creative desires and wishes of the conscious mind, while 95% of the day comes from the programs of our subconscious. When the conscious mind is in control, it’s like the driver holding the steering wheel and guiding us in the direction we want to go. The subconscious is the autopilot.
Consciousness is holding the steering wheel and driving in the direction we want to go. At the moment we start thinking, biology is taken over by the programs (beliefs) we’ve acquired in the subconscious. This is where the problem arises. 95% of the day we operate with these programs, and the vast majority of them are acquisitions that disable us and lead to self-sabotage. So, we are not living the life we want; we are living the life we have learned, the one we have acquired from other people.
This is where a multitude of negative programs are found, and that’s why we struggle through life, but why is there a struggle? Since you no longer function based on desires and needs, you function based on habits you’ve acquired from other people. The life we lead is already controlled by the acquisition of programs. This is not something new. Jesuits said to their followers 400 years ago: „Give me a child aged 7, and I will show you the man.” Why? Because 95% of a person’s life comes from those programs.
Programs are acquired in the last trimester of pregnancy and through the first seven years of life. If I would ask you what programs you’ve acquired, you would say you have no idea. It is logical, because the conscious mind was not engaged at that time. So, your life is controlled by 95% of programs.
What are those programs? Your life is a reflection! Your life is a reflection of the programs acquired in your subconscious. That’s easy. Look at your life, the things you love, desire, and wish for, and you will see numerous programs.
You can notice the most programs in the areas of your life where you’re struggling, where you want to achieve something, working hard for it, putting in a lot of effort, but it just doesn’t seem to work. Why does it take so much effort to fulfill those desires? The answer is very simple: the programs you have acquired do not support them. That’s why your behavior sabotages you.
The problem is that acquiring new knowledge in the conscious mind doesn’t change the programs in the subconscious; it’s a different mind and learns in a completely different way.. The subconscious mind is the mind of habits, and by definition, we don’t want to change habits easily.
For example, everyone learned to walk by their second year. Almost everyone never have to learn to walk again, and that’s thanks to the subconscious mind because it took over the habit of walking and tries to resist any change to it. But when you get a negative belief, the system also tries to resist to the change.
