I don´t believe in God: From Unbeliever to Believer

I believe that there is hardly a person still „ plugged in “ to the media who hasn’t heard of the series The Chosen, which is based on the life of Jesus Christ. In the first season of the series, in the fifth episode, the story of Jesus’ miracle at the wedding in Cana of Galilee is told. This is an episode from the life of Jesus as described in the New Testament. There, Jesus performed His first miracle – turning water into wine. In the series, just before the miracle itself, Jesus spoke with Thomas, who was rationally questioning Him about how He intended to „get wine“ if He was only pouring water into the wine jars? Jesus responded to the many questions Thomas asked primarily with love, giving Thomas the freedom to choose. What moved me most in this event was not Jesus’ miracle, but His love and patience. At one moment in the series, Jesus said to Thomas—and it stuck with me: „ I do not rebuke you. It is good to ask questions. To seek understanding.“ I believe it is precisely from the experience of such a Lord Jesus that the Apostle Paul wrote in the Epistle to the Thessalonians: „ Test everything…“ (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Those who know me well know that I have thoroughly checked, questioned, and researched the truth of many hypotheses, theses, and laws. Inspired by many different questions that challenged my faith, I decided to embark on a detailed investigation into the existence of God. After countless questions asked and answered on this topic, I have reached the conclusion published in this book: God exists, and I firmly believe that this living God has revealed Himself to us in Jesus Christ. Reaching that realization „ is not difficult “. To go from unbeliever to believer, it takes just a few steps. In this sense, this book presents six steps (six chapters):

1. I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist
2. God exists – evidence
3. Which God is the true God?
4. Jesus is a historical figure
5. Jesus rose from the dead – rational evidence
6. It is not enough to believe in God.

First, understand this book as a guide that helps you learn to walk — either again (for believers) or for the first time in your life (for atheists). All the evidence points to the truth that God exists and that this God fully revealed Himself in Jesus of Nazareth. God is the one who guides the history of the world and our personal history, He planned everything and continues to plan. Jesus is alive, and I have met Him. He changed my life and the way I see myself, others, Himself, and the world around me.
